San Francisco Minimum Wage Increase May 1 2015
San Francisco’s minimum wage will increase to $12.15 on May 1, 2015. The increase, which passed in 2014 as part of Proposition J, won more than 76% of the vote.
The minimum wage will continue to increase throughout the next three years as follows:
July 1, 2016 the minimum wage will increase to $13.00
July 1, 2017 the minimum wage will increase to $14.00
July 1, 2018 the minimum wage will increase to $15.00
This will require San Francisco employers to post the new minimum wage notice. San Francisco employers should ensure that they have the most current labor posters conspicuously placed at their workplaces.
